BlackBox3 XML Debugging Utility

BlackBox3 constructs an xml diagnostic gauge that can be used to display in readout form or HDD file the numerical
or string values of all or selected A:, E:, G:*, L:, and P: variables of the gauge you are editing/building.
It can display important parameters such as L: and A: variables, booleans, enums, etc., that are not often
displayed directly by the gauge you are building. As such, it is very useful for debugging xml gauge logic;
you can see what all variables are doing in real time as MS Flight Simulator flies.

The BlackBox3 application can be used with either FS9 or FSX.

Installation:

1. BlackBox3 is a Java application so you will need Java RunTime Environment (JRE) installed on your pc.
The current version, JRE version 7, can be freely downloaded from Sun Microsystems at www.java.com.

2. Unzip BlackBox3.zip to any folder or desktop place you desire. The zip file contains this ReadMe file, the
BlackBox3.jar application, BB3Settings.xml file, and the Simulation Variables.xml file.

3. Edit your aircraft's panel.cfg file to include the BlackBox3 gauge according to instructions that are located
in the BlackBox3 Help file. The Help file can be opened online at http://www.robbiemcelrath.com/blackbox?help or
downloaded as a pdf file from the same site.

4. Launch BlackBox3 by double-clicking BlackBox3.jar.

Feedback is important, solicited and welcome.
